Blockbusters edge out BG Lions

Closely contested competition

The clear leaders of the division lost only once during the season – to their nearest rivals BG Lions, at home in January having beaten them away back in October. Below them the contest was unpredictable, the most surprising result probably being BG Lions away defeat at the hands of bottom of the table, Lynx 2. Wapping Cheetahs claimed third place although Baks 2 who finished fifth were delighted at having beaten them. These two were separated by Waltham Forest: fourth with Dynasty fifth despite a victory over Waltham Forest and a four set “tie” with Wapping.

Much frustration then at the arrival of “Lockdown”.
