Sanction Document – Thursday 2nd December 2021
During Cisel Ormanci’s term as an officer of the LVA she held the administrative rights of the Official LVA Facebook Group.
On leaving her role at the LVA she refused to relinquish back those rights to the LVA Exec.
Officers from the LVA have reached out to her on numerous occasions requesting control of the Facebook group, but with no success. Control of the Facebook page has not been handed back to the LVA.
We have also asked Volleyball England and members of her own club to talk to her without success.
She has recently gone on to remodel the group with her own branding and identity and removed all mention of LVA ownership.
This is a very serious issue for the LVA. This Facebook group had been the most active way for the members of our association to communicate and advertise their events. It has been the most successful way to introduce newcomers to the London Volleyball Association and all we have to offer.
Because of the seriousness of the action taken the LVA Exec convened a special meeting to discuss this issue.
The Exec unanimously agreed to apply both club and individual sanctions. We would not hesitate to fine a club for a breach of league rules, offence to officials or bullying. In our judgement the actions in this case are far worse.
Due to the seriousness of the action taken by Cisel, the Chair of Little Giants, the LVA Exec are regrettably issuing the following sanctions;
1) Cisel will be suspended from participating/attending any LVA activities until the end of the 2021/22 season.
2) 10 point sanction will be applied immediately to ALL little Giants teams in the 2021/22 season in the London league.
3) A further 11 point sanction will be applied on a schedule to ALL little Giants teams in the 2021/22 season in the London league. This deadline sanction will be applied on January 1st 2022.
The LVA Exec do retain the right to review this sanction if all property issues between the LVA and Cisel are resolved to the satisfaction of the LVA Exec.
