Predators and Ernest Bevin share the kudos

A contest of two halves produced a league table in which four teams were separated by just three points and the bottom three also within three league points scored. Both matches between Predators and Ernest Bevin went to four sets with the away team winning each time. Predators also lost to SQUAD 2 away although winning at home and Ernest Bevin were beaten by IVA Persia in their away fixture. SQUAD enjoyed a thrilling five set win at home over IVA Persia but, sadly, the return game fell to the Covid virus.

The “Best of the rest” turned out to be Red Rebels who enjoyed five victories in the eleven matches played. Besty Boys 2, Good Times and Thunderball all secured two wins over the first three-quarters of the season and, all having played each of the others, look as though they would have ended in the same order even if play had not been stopped.
